Entry requirements
No existing qualifications are required to enroll onto this course however, we do recommend having some plumbing industry knowledge.
How you'll spend your time
This course includes:
- Regulations, standards and guidelines
- Theory of understanding of expansion of hot water (HW)
- Principles of HW storage
- Design considerations
- Components and function
- Safety controls, discharge and integration
- Installation of HW systems
- Maintenance and servicing of HW systems including
- Unvented HWS
- Health and safety considerations
Course costs & funding
Our in-centre package course runs over one day consisting of both training and assessments, and is available for both initial and reassessment candidates. for reassessment candidates this may be completed up to 6 months prior to your expiry and any additional months will be rolled over onto your next 5 years. This course is priced at £195 + VAT, which includes training, training handouts, assessment, certification fees and refreshments.
