Overview
On successful completion, you will receive an attainment certificate and have the skills and knowledge to be able to take on any project within a domestic property. Beyond this, you will have also developed a solid foundation if you are interested in branching into the Gas and Heating market.

How you'll spend your time
This course is primarily practical based. with the theory knowledge to back up the skills you will learn. This course provides the opportunity to pipe up various items, pressure test them and fill them with water, commissioning of your own work will be required and includes the following:
- Pipe bending
- Soldering using end feed and solder ring fittings
- Compression fittings and threaded connections
- The use of Press fit and plastic pipe fittings
- Clipping and spacing
- Pipe protection (thermal and impact)
- Pressure testing
- Use different size waste pipes
- Waste pipes into soil pipes
- Plumbing of a variety of accessories radiators, WC’s, Shower valves, Sinks and Basins
- The correct use of Solvents, Adhesives, Compounds and tapes
