Entry requirements
In order to enroll onto our 5 day F-GAS package each engineer must hold one of the following:
Current ACS OR OFTEC qualification OR have a minimum of 2 years audit-able evidence of prior work and pass an entry assessment OR NVQ in Plumbing OR hold an NVQ level 2 in Heating and Ventilation.
How you'll spend your time
This course includes:
- Brazing
- Strength, tightness and pressure testing using suitable inert gas
- Safe recovery of refrigerants
- Evacuation and dehydration of systems
- System charging
- Appliance installation and commissioning
- Direct and indirect leak checking
- Servicing and maintenance of appliances
Course costs & funding
Our package runs over 5 consecutive days, charged at only £995 + VAT. This cost includes training, assessments, certification fees and refreshments.
Also includes in-centre use of F-Gas Reference Manual and Workbook.
