Men's Mental Heath Charity at HTAA

Hard Hats, Soft Hearts

Welcome!

'Hard Hats, Soft Hearts' grew from seeing the silent battles that men in our industry face every day.
We know the pressures, the isolation, and the unspoken struggles with mental health.

Our charity provides more than just support, it offers a welcoming space at our training center where men can come together, grab a cup of tea & connect with others who truly get it.

Here, there’s no judgment, no need to put on a brave face, just a place to be heard, understood, and supported.

    A Message From Our Founder!

“When I opened Hampshire Training and Assessments, I never imagined it would lead to something like this.
Working in a male dominated industry, I’ve seen firsthand the silent battles so many men face every day.
The isolation, the pressures, the unspoken struggles with mental health. It’s a reality you can’t ignore, and it’s one I won’t. That’s why I founded Hard Hats Soft Hearts.
My vision is to create a safe and supportive space right here at our training center, think of it as a modern-day ‘men’s shed’.
Over the years, I’ve worked alongside countless individuals facing mental health worries, business pressures, and the loneliness that can come with being a trades person.
I’ve seen the need and know the struggles myself. And now, we’re stepping up to make a difference. This charity is for all of us.

    – John Razzell, Hard Hats Founder.
