Our Level 2 Plumbing Diploma is meticulously designed for individuals with little to no prior experience. In just six months, you’ll be transformed into a fully qualified, confident, and competent plumbing professional, ready to start your new career with a solid foundation.

Flexible Learning to Fit Your Life

This course offers a perfect blend of hands-on practice and flexible at-home theory. All your practical training and tasks are completed in our realistic, working environments, ensuring you gain true on-the-job skills. To earn your Level 2 Plumbing Diploma, you’ll need to successfully pass all required tasks to the highest standard.

For your convenience, all your theory lessons can be studied from home via our user-friendly online learning platform. This gives you the flexibility to fit your studies around your own schedule. By committing just 2 to 3 hours of study per week, you’ll find it a manageable and relaxed way to prepare for and pass all your exams.

You’ll spend just one day a week over 15 weeks at our training center for practical sessions, where you’ll build the hands-on skills you need for your new career.

A Comprehensive Curriculum for the Modern Plumber

Our Level 2 Plumbing Diploma is designed to equip you with a wide range of practical skills essential for a successful career in plumbing and heating. You will gain hands-on expertise in the maintenance, installation, servicing, and repair of a variety of systems, including:

Plumbing Fixtures & Appliances

  • Standard Fixtures: Install and repair toilets, basins, and sinks, including all taps and waste pipes.
  • Kitchen Plumbing: Connections for kitchen appliances such as fridges and washing machines.

Pipework & Drainage

  • Waste Systems: Gain a deep understanding of drainage, soil, and vent pipes up to 4 inches.
  • Pipework Mastery: Different pipe materials, from copper and press-fit to plastic and know when and where to use each.
  • Advanced Techniques: Traditional skills like copper pipe bending and soldering and pressure-testing installations to ensure safety and quality.

Water and Heating Systems

  • Water Supply: Get hands-on with hot and cold water mains installation and learn the critical regulations for water systems.
  • Hot Water Systems: Specialise in the installation, fault-finding, and commissioning of both open-vent and unvented hot water cylinders.
  • Radiators & Central Heating: Learn to replace and install radiators, and gain crucial skills like system cleansing, balancing, and practical fault-finding on central heating systems.

Full Installations & Safety

  • Full Bathroom Suites: Develop the skills to professionally install full bathroom suites, including baths, showers, and basins. We’ll also provide trade-specific tips for repairs and maintenance.
  • Electrical Safety for Plumbers: Learn how to safely work with electrical plumbing equipment, including safe isolation and fault-finding on heating valves, controls, and pumps.
