This OFTEC course is designed for qualified gas engineers and existing OFTEC professionals who want to expand their skills into the oil and bio-liquid fuel sector. The program provides the necessary training and assessments to work on oil-fired appliances, tanks, and systems, with UKAS-accredited certification from LCL Awards.

Who is this Course For?

This course is aimed at:

  • Qualified Gas Engineers who are currently listed on the Gas Safe Register.
  • Engineers who already hold the OFTEC 10-101 qualification and need to expand their scope.

 

What’s Covered?

The course includes a comprehensive set of training and assessments, equipping you with the skills to handle various aspects of oil-fired heating. The programme covers the following modules:

  • OFTEC 10-101: Learn how to service and commission single-stage pressure jet systems.
  • OFTEC 10-105E: Master the installation of oil and bio-liquid fueled combustion appliances and their associated systems.
  • OFTEC 10-600: Gain expertise in the installation of oil fuel storage and supply systems.

 

Course Details

The course fee is all-inclusive, covering your training, assessments, and certification fees. You will also have access to our OFTEC training manuals for use during your time at our center. Upon successful completion, you will receive a recognised qualification that allows you to work professionally on oil installations.
