This course is designed for qualified gas engineers who are looking to add Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to their scope of work. Expanding into LPG allows you to work on a wider range of appliances and installations, boosting your professional portfolio.

Course Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course, you must have been registered on the Gas Safe Register for a minimum of 12 months. Evidence of your registration is required upon booking.

 

What’s Covered?

This comprehensive, four-day course covers the essential skills and knowledge needed to work with LPG safely and competently. The curriculum focuses on the specific requirements for various environments, including:

  • Permanent Dwellings: Understand how to work with LPG systems in residential homes.
  • Residential Park Homes: Learn the unique considerations for installations in park homes.
  • Leisure Accommodation Vehicles: Gain the expertise to handle LPG systems in motorhomes and caravans.
  • HTRLP2: For closed-flue Widney fires.

The course includes both hands-on practical training and theoretical sessions, giving you a well-rounded understanding of LPG.

The all-inclusive course fee covers:

  • Training: Expert instruction over four consecutive days.
  • Assessments: Both practical and theory assessments to confirm your competency.
  • Resources: A copy of the LCL Awards LPG Training Manual for you to use on your course.
  • Certification Fees: All costs associated with gaining your new qualification.
  • Refreshments: Provided throughout your time at our center.

Optional Additional Qualifications: For an additional fee, you can also add on the following ACS codes:

  • CONGLP1 B: For boats.

Upon successful completion, you will be qualified to work on LPG systems, opening up new opportunities for your business.
