Our Gas Portfolio Building service is designed to help you meet the practical requirements of your gas training certification. Whether you’ve completed your training with us or elsewhere, we provide the resources, guidance, and real-world projects you need to build a comprehensive portfolio and get certified.

Who is This Service For?

  • Our Students: If you’ve completed an LCL Awards-certified course with us, your portfolio building is automatically scheduled into our diary, but if you are completing our plumber to gas programme you can add this portfolio building on as an extra, even if its just for the jobs that you are unable to complete on-site.
  • External Students: If you trained with another provider and need to complete your portfolio, we can help. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

 

Full Portfolio Package

We offer a complete portfolio bundle designed to get you certified efficiently. This package is structured to cover all the necessary practical jobs and paperwork.

What’s included:

  • 5 Boiler Installations
  • 5 Boiler/Water Heater Services or Repairs
  • 3 Gas Pipe Installations
  • Supporting Method Statements for the 26.9 regulatory checks.

How it works:

This bundled service is scheduled over 11 days in our centre. We can book these days consecutively or spread them out based on your availability.

  • 3 days: Complete your method statements and other portfolio jobs.
  • 4 days: Focus on completing your boiler installations.
  • 4 days: Complete your boiler/water heater services and repairs.

 

Individual Portfolio Jobs

If you only need to complete a few specific jobs to finish your portfolio, we offer individual sessions:

  • 1 Full Domestic Gas Boiler Installation: £500 +VAT
  • 1 Full Day of 3 Boiler Services (in customers’ homes): £250 +VAT

12-18 months

New Entrant MLP ACS Gas Package
£4995 + VAT

Change careers and become a qualified gas engineer. Our comprehensive MLP package is for new entrants, covering domestic gas appliances, heating systems, and hot water systems. Get hands-on experience and all the qualifications you need to get Gas Safe registered.

12-18 months

ACS Domestic Gas Apprenticeship

Our government and/or Levy funded ACS Domestic Gas Apprenticeship, available for those aged 16-65 years old, with regular enrolment, run one day a week for 12-18 months. We don’t close for the school holidays.

A skilled professional or student in a plumbing course inspects and works on a gas meter installation, wearing protective goggles and gloves.

Domestic Single Appliance
£195 + VAT

Expand your skillset or renew your qualifications with our single domestic gas appliance courses. Add CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, or other modules to your Gas Safe scope of work quickly and efficiently.
