Who is this Course For?

This course is perfect for Gas Operatives who want to upskill and broaden their knowledge. While there are no formal entry requirements, we highly recommend that you hold a gas qualification to get the most out of the training.

 

What You’ll Learn

This two-day course combines both theory and hands-on practical training. You will gain the skills to:

  • Test Components: Learn to test various components for continuity and other faults.
  • Diagnose Problems: Use manufacturer’s figures to accurately diagnose issues you may encounter on the job.
  • Wire Systems: Understand the basics of wiring S-Plan and Y-Plan heating systems.
  • Install Controls: Gain sufficient knowledge for the correct installation of heating controls.

The course concludes with an assessment to confirm your competency. Upon successful completion, you will be provided with a certificate of competence.
