This course is a top-up qualification, meaning you must already hold a current 18th Edition qualification to enrol. It’s the perfect solution for:

  • Anyone in the industry with the previous 18th Edition certification

If you do not have the current 18th Edition qualification, we offer a comprehensive 3-day course.

 

What You’ll Learn

This is a theory-based qualification delivered in a classroom setting. The training session will equip you with the knowledge to understand and apply the latest regulations. Key learning points include:

  • In-depth Review: Work through our centre’s copies of the BS7671:2018 manuals and practice papers.
  • Key Updates: A dedicated PowerPoint presentation will cover all the new additions and changes since the 2015 regulations.
  • Practical Application: Our training provides the context and understanding needed to pass the final assessment.

We provide copies of the BS7671:2018 Amendment 2 (2022) manual for use during the course, but you are welcome to bring your own.

 

Assessment & Certification

The qualification is assessed via an online, multiple-choice theory exam.

  • Questions: The exam consists of 60 questions.
  • Duration: You will have 2 hours to complete the paper.
  • Pass Mark: A score of 60% or above is required to pass.

The exam is taken in our centre immediately following your training. Your results are loaded and available to our office instantly upon completion. The course cost is all-inclusive and covers your registration, training, assessment, and certification fees.
